Broga Hill, one of the famous hills-to-climb is located in Semenyih, Kajang. We, a team of 5 best friends arrived at the foothill around at 0530am. There is a car park provided in the middle of an oil palm estate right before the mouth of the hiking trail.

We began our journey to the top in a group with other climbers. It was not a tough hiking. We spent about 20 minutes in the jungle which was easy to get through where we only climbed few steep slopes. You can hold to the rope provided at some spots during the hiking for a safety reason. We should take safety caution in any outdoor activity. Make sure you bring flashlight if you plan to do the hiking before the sunrise obviously.

| Broga Hill is usually crowded during weekends |
We reached the first lookout point after 25 minutes of walking in the hill forest. There are 4 lookout points each with slightly different view. It was so fascinating watching the view of road lamps from a distance. We continued the journey to the highest one and yet steep slopes to climb. There were already other climbers who arrived at the top of the hill earlier than us. Everyone had smile on their faces and we just waited for the sunrise in the next few minutes. You may be surprised with the amazing view of the fresh orange.

Overall, the hiking was short. Still, we have enjoyed our friendship up there and it was worthy to spend a day in the weekends to do the hiking. I recommend Broga Hill to everyone who just need to relax their minds and spend precious moment with their loved ones. |
